Kinds of Cyst Disease

There are many different types of cysts with different contents, as well as the way they form on the body. Here are the kinds of cysts you need to know, including:

  • Ovarian Cysts
Ovarian cysts are lumps or fluid-filled pouches that grow in the ovaries or ovaries of women. This condition is classified commonly experienced by women. Most ovarian cysts are harmless and can disappear by themselves without special treatment. The appearance of ovarian cysts is less likely to cause symptoms. But if the ovarian cyst grows to large and breaks, it can cause serious symptoms, such as fever, fainting, dizziness, rapid breathing, and severe pelvic or stomach pain.
  • Epidermoid Cysts
Epidermoid cysts are benign swellings that grow under the skin. This cyst can appear on any skin, such as face, neck, head, back, and vital tools. Usually epidermoid cysts rarely cause problems. However, in some cases, this type of cyst may interfere with appearance, pain, rupture, or infection.
  • Breast cysts
Breast cysts are fluid-filled lumps that grow in breast tissue. These types of cysts are generally benign or do not develop into cancer cells. In some cases, breast cysts do not require serious treatment unless the cyst gets bigger and causes more pain.
  • Ganglion cysts
Ganglion cysts are benign bumps that appear along the joints. Usually, ganglion cysts often occur in the wrists or finger joints. Although rare, these cysts may appear elsewhere, such as at the fingertips of the hands, outer knees, ankles, and backs.
  • Dermoid cysts
Dermoid cysts are abnormally abnormal growth of body bags that contain a variety of tissue structures, such as hair follicles, sweat glands, teeth, and nerve tissue. These cysts can appear on the surface of the skin or other organs in the body, such as the spine, brain, inside the nose, sinus cavity, abdominal cavity, and ovaries.
  • Baker Cyst
Baker cysts are fluid-filled bags that cause lumps behind the knee. The pain of this condition can get worse when the knee is often moved. Baker cysts are generally caused by a buildup of excessive lubricating fluid (synovial fluid) on the knee tissue. This condition is triggered by a number of knee problems, such as arthritis or tearing of the knee cartilage. In some cases, Baker's cysts do not cause pain, so you may not realize it. However, you should immediately see a doctor if the Baker cyst raises symptoms of pain and swelling behind the knee that interfere with activity.
  • Bartholin Cyst
The Bartholin cyst is a swelling or bump on one or both of the glands on the vaginal side. These cysts can form when the vaginal lubricant gland (Bartholin's gland) is blocked. Bartholin cyst infection can be caused by bacterial infections that cause sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), such as gonorrhea and Chlamydia disease. The main symptom of Bartholin cyst is swelling in the area around the vagina. Bartholin cysts can cause pain when the cyst is infected.
  • Kidney Cysts
The kidney cyst is a round-shaped sac containing fluid that forms in the kidney. A common kidney cyst is a simple kidney cyst. This type of cyst is a benign cyst and does not develop into cancer, and rarely cause serious complications. Usually, simple kidney cysts do not cause any symptoms at all. However, symptoms will appear when the cyst grows large enough or is already infected. These symptoms include, fever, back, abdominal or upper abdominal pain, frequent urination, and blood in the urine.
In addition to the various cysts above, there are also various other cysts, such as: arachnoid cysts, epididymal cysts, labial cysts, pilonidal cysts, nabothi cysts, pineal cysts, tiroglosal cysts, brankial cyst cysts, colloid cysts, mucosal cysts , pancreatic cyst, testicular cyst, thyroid cyst, liver cyst, sinus cyst, pillar cyst, hemorrhagic cyst, and conjunctival cyst.

What you need to remember, although various types of cysts will generally disappear by itself, but immediately consult a doctor to prevent the emergence of complications or other health problems are more serious.
